LETTER - Town Council not the villain

It’s depressing reading letters revealing that their originator is biased against Sleaford Town Council (STC). In these, the latter are usually cast as ‘villains’ with respect to particular local development proposals. Undoubtedly, it’s good when readers show interest in Sleaford’s future, but troubling, if through prejudice, they don’t get their details right. For instance, the ‘Maltings’ project; this with its existing access road was actually endorsed by STC. This was because it’s in a different locality to the designated supplementary superstore and independent of the suggested level crossing closure.
